Are you wanting to be a part of something powerful that improves the lives of homeless in James City? Do you desire to join hands with others in the Body of Christ to minister to those who are struggling in our community?

THEN JOIN OUR MARCH MISSION HOMELESS MINISTRY PARTNERSHIP

On March 5th & 6th The River Ministries will be partnering with LifePointe Church (our friends across the street), Hickory Neck Episcopal Church, and COFM (Community of Faith Mission) to serve homeless in Williamsburg.  COFM is a faith-based emergency shelter program that works with local churches to provide a warm & safe haven for homeless individuals during the coldest months of the year.

During the first week in March, Hickory Neck Episcopal on Richmond Road will be hosting 25 homeless in conjunction with COFM. Area churches are lending a hand by volunteering to prepare meals, provide hospitality, serve guests, and provide overnight security on selected days. LifePointe Church invited us to partner with them on Thursday, March 5th and Friday, March 6th.
