River Kid's Church

Sunday Mornings  for ages 5 - 10

Here at The River, we believe that our children don't have a "Jr size" Holy Spirit...they've got the FULL measure!
So, that means, even though our kids are young in age, they are mighty in God! 
Therefore, we understand the importance of teaching & training our youngest members in the Body of Christ.
It's critical that we impart God's Word into their tender hearts before the world has a chance to gain influence in their lives.

River Kid's Church creates a fun and safe environment with loving teachers that minister the gospel of Jesus in creative ways that help kids understand. We incorporate worship, scripture, and prayer along with hands-on activities, such as crafts and games, to reinforce the Biblical truths being taught.
 River Kid's Church services emphasize:
The Nature of God and His Father's Heart
The Person & Work of Christ and Our Identity in Him
The Holy Spirit and His Work in Us
The Kingdom of God and Our Role as King's Kids

Our Kid's Ministry Team Leaders don't entertain kids...they EQUIP them!

What to Expect...

First Time Guests

Thank you for visiting! We hope you and your child(ren) are enjoying your time here at The River Church.  We want you to feel welcome and comfortable.
 If you have an immediate need, please feel free to connect with our ushers/greeters located in the church entrance foyer. They are ready to assist you!

Child Check-in 

On your first visit, we ask for the following information:
Parent/Guardian name, phone number, and email address
Child's name & age
Special instructions or allergies for each child
This information is entered into our church database to help maintain our secure, child check-in system.

Kid's Church Location

Kid's Church is located in the modular building directly behind the church building and beside the parking area.  A fenced playground is available on the back side of the modular for you and your children to enjoy. Please remain WITH your children while they play in the playground area. 

Kid's Church Time

The children will be released to go to Kid's Church after praise & worship. We ask that your children remain with you until that time. Once the kids are dismissed, they will follow our Kid's Ministry Team Leads to the modular.
Immediately after service, your children will need to be personally picked up by you in the modular. 

Safety

All of our kid's ministry team members have passed background checks for your children's safety and your peace of mind.  We utilize our own, trained security staff for additional protection.

To keep everyone healthy, our policy is that children who are experiencing symptoms of: cold/flu, diarrhea, fever, head lice, or a contagious rash (such as ringworm) will not be allowed to attend Kid's Church. We look forward to having them back as soon as they feel better. 

Communication

We encourage open communication and believe that it fosters greater trust and confidence between parents and our ministry team.  Our goal is developing a partnership with parents in order to give River Kids a positive and uplifting experience here at our church.
