Hey River Family, it's time for our annual Back-to-School Supply Drive here at The River! We are partnering with the Charles City Schools again this year because the need in the county is so great. They are doing things a little different for the 25-26 school year to make things more equitable for the students. CCPS asked if our members could "Adopt-a-Student" in need and fill a backpack with the school supplies listed for that grade. We said OF COURSE we can...in fact, we will adopt an entire grade! So, we are blessing the 7th grade class at CCHS...23 students...with backpacks and supplies. Our goal is to have the backpacks filled and at the church by July 31st. We will be donating all items collected at the Back-to-School Bash on August 9th.

The ROC, our outreach center in Charles City will be hosting a game booth during the Back-to-School Bash. They will need simple school supplies for prizes...so, feel free to donate extra supplies for the booth.
