OUR MINISTRIES
Missions at The River Church are viewed and activated as a three-tiered approach; Local, National and International. Our purpose is to reach as many people, in as many places as possible with The Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to see all churches come together to Glorify God and to remove the barriers which have separated and isolated us for far too long.
Partnering with God to bring about the reality of Jesus’ prayer,
“On earth as it is in Heaven.”
Our vision is to mobilize, equip, and empower the local body to reach the world with the message of the simple Gospel.
Youth Services
The mission of our youth ministry is to raise up a generation of leaders who are equipped, empowered, and released into their God-given purposes.
The service is designed for youth and young adults, ages 12 and up.
We meet on Wednesday nights 6pm for dinner, worship and the word.
Local
Our local missions include actions such as street evangelism, food preparation and distribution, school supply distribution, blessing other church families through finances and prayer and anything to help bless our local community and families. Multi-church worship services throughout the community to break down walls or barriers of separation.
National
The River Church supports the prayer caucus’s in our State Capital as well as in our Nation’s Capital. In addition, we host open forum events for our representatives to discuss national issues and answer questions from the community. We also send prayer blankets and prayer cloths to those who request them in times of need.
International Missions
The River Church family supports an orphanage and Ministry in Uganda as well as an orphanage, school and church in Suryapet India. In addition, we support short term mission trips to South Africa and Haiti.
